A new study finds that 60 percent of British consumers now buy their groceries online Image Source According to a new survey from Spryker , 60 percent of UK consumers now order at least some of their groceries online, and 16 percent do most of their food shopping online. Those between the ages of 35 and 44 account for more than a third of all online grocery purchases. People over the age of 55, on the other hand, are more likely to do all of their shopping online. In addition, a poll of 2,500 people found that eighty percent of those polled said they would do more online shopping if the experience was better. Although 28 percent of those polled said they plan to do most of their grocery shopping online in the next two years, this is still a small percentage.
